Segovia

I know.. I know.. "Olga, why have a blog when you don't post anything in FOREVER!?" I'm sorry. I just haven't really had down-time when I could just sit down and write about my crazy adventures- I haven't even been journaling, which is rare for me. I've been having the time of my life abroad and now I want to post all of the pictures I have taken here. Segovia is a beautiful city just an hour-and-a-half away from Madrid on bus. I went with the ISA Program, so I didn't have to worry about transportation and tour guides. The city is best known for the aqueduct built by the Romans by stacking stones. It can still be used today, but it wasn't when we were there. The city was very charming and small with great views of the valley. And like any Spanish city, you can't leave without seeing the local cathedral. The Gothic-style Cathedral was not open this day and we only got to see it from the outside: Also, Segovia is known for its Alcázar.
