Prado Museum

Image
Every day in Spain is an adventure! The ISA (International Student Association) program organizes Cultural Activities and excursions for the students, and this past week we visited the Prado Museum; focusing on El Greco, Velazquez, and Goya. El Greco painted very religious pieces with Jesus/heaven featured in very light colors and everything else (the earth) in very dark tones. I was able to take some pictures of his paintings until the museum worker told me that I wasn’t allowed to take pictures. The next day, Lydia, my roommate, and I found a very cute café in Moncloa (north region of Madrid) that serves American breakfast food throughout the day, and we were craving a hearty brunch. We got on a bus that goes around the city and directly to the café. About five stops from the scrambled eggs and French toast, we saw a beautiful corner cafe with glass walls and modern design. We had to check it out! It’s called Sushita Café and you can see more pictures in this link: https://www.
